Recreational Program

Creative Movement
Our Creative Movement Class is designed for young dancers ages 3 to 6 who are beginning their first steps into the world of dance in a joyful, nurturing, and imaginative environment.
Students receive gentle instruction in basic movement, coordination, rhythm, musicality, creativity, self-expression, and classroom awareness, while developing confidence, focus, independence, and social skills.
Through music, movement games, group activities, and age-appropriate exercises, children are encouraged to explore their imagination while learning how to move with control, listen to instructions, and participate positively with others. This class provides a warm and engaging introduction to dance while building the foundation for future ballet and dance training.
Children's Ballet
At Bayview School of Ballet, our Children’s Ballet Program is designed for young dancers ages 5 to 10 who are ready to continue their classical ballet training in a disciplined, supportive, and inspiring environment.
Students are placed by level to ensure proper technical development, artistic growth, and confidence. With a strong focus on ballet technique, posture, alignment, coordination, musicality, discipline, and stage presence, dancers are guided through a progressive curriculum that prepares them for more advanced training.
All levels are performance-based, allowing dancers to participate in major productions such as The Nutcracker and our annual Year-End Performance, while developing confidence, artistry, and a lifelong appreciation for classical ballet.
