Bella Kovarsky Scholarship
The Bella Kovarsky Scholarship Program stands as a beacon of opportunity in the world of dance education, offering one fortunate prospective student the chance to immerse themselves in a full dance year of transformative learning experiences.
With a value of up to $15,000, the scholarship provides financial support specifically toward dance education during the regular dance year. It does not include summer programs, costumes, competition expenses, registration fees, or any other related fees outside of regular dance-year tuition. Founded in honour of the late Bella Kovarsky, the program aims to empower individuals who demonstrate exceptional promise, dedication, and commitment to the art of dance.

Beyond the monetary assistance, recipients of the Bella Kovarsky Scholarship gain access to top-tier instruction and resources, fostering their growth and development as dancers. Through this initiative, the legacy of Bella Kovarsky continues to inspire and uplift the next generation of dance artists, enriching the cultural landscape with their artistry and creativity.
External Scholarship
Each year, Bayview School of Ballet proudly offers three talented individuals the opportunity to receive external dance scholarships. Recipients are selected through a rigorous audition process, ensuring that these scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional skill, dedication, and potential.
The scholarships apply exclusively to dance education during the regular dance year. They do not include summer programs, costumes, competition expenses, registration fees, or any other related fees outside of regular dance-year tuition.
Prospective applicants must be at least 10 years of age. This age requirement reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing and advancing the abilities of young, promising dancers.
