1.1) Operational Framework This Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Bayview School of Ballet Inc. ("Institution") and its enrolled student(s) and/or their legal guardians ("Participants"). By enrolling in the Institution’s programs, all Participants expressly acknowledge and agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions in their entirety. 1.2) Class Structure and Duration Bayview School of Ballet Inc. operates on a structured 40-week dance year, excluding statutory holidays and scheduled school breaks, commencing in September and concluding in mid-June with the Bayview School of Ballet Annual Recital. Class sizes are capped at 10-15 students to maintain a high level of instruction. The Summer Intensive Program, offered in July or August depending on instructor availability, provides students with the opportunity to focus on stretch classes and refine their technique. At Bayview School of Ballet, our private Summer Camp Program provides a creative and enriching environment, featuring individually customized lunches to accommodate dietary needs and a unique curriculum with programs not offered during the regular school year. Students may enjoy activities such as stage makeup application, learning the history of the Vaganova syllabus, arts and crafts, and other enrichment activities. Student Support and Scope of Care Policy Bayview School of Ballet is a professional dance institution dedicated to providing high-quality ballet training in a structured, respectful, and disciplined environment. While we strive to support each student with care and professionalism, our faculty and staff are not clinical, medical, behavioural, or mental health specialists. Families are kindly asked to inform the Institution in advance of any needs, conditions, or concerns that may affect a student’s ability to participate safely and successfully in class. Where a student requires specialized support beyond the scope of our dance program, the Institution may recommend that the family seek guidance from an appropriate qualified professional. Bayview School of Ballet will make reasonable efforts to support students where possible, while also ensuring the safety, focus, and well-being of all dancers, faculty, and staff. Park Visits Bayview School of Ballet may take children to local parks as part of camp activities. By enrolling their child,parents and guardians acknowledge and consent to these supervised outings. Sun Protection and Outdoor Needs Parents and guardians must provide all necessary sun protection items for their child, including sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, to ensure comfort and safety during outdoor activities. Child Well-being Parents and guardians grant camp staff permission to make decisions reasonably necessary for the child’s safety and well-being while attending camp. 1.3) Makeup Classes Makeup classes will not be scheduled unless assigned and authorized by an instructor. 1.4) Class Assignments The Institution reserves the right to reassign students to different classes during the school term upon obtaining parental or guardian consent. 1.5) Studio Regulations Only water is permitted within the studio premises. No food or other beverages are allowed. 1.6) Attire and Grooming Standards All students must adhere to the Bayview School of Ballet Inc. uniform policy. Jewelry is prohibited. Hair must be neatly secured in a bun, or appropriately styled if short. 1.7) Punctuality Students must arrive on time. The instructor may deny entry to late students to ensure full participation in warm-up exercises critical to injury prevention. 1.8) Dress Code Compliance Failure to comply with the Institution’s dress code may result in removal from class for that session.

2.1) Student Training Exclusivity This policy applies to students between the ages of 5 and 18 and does not pertain to Adult Ballet classes. Students enrolled at Bayview School of Ballet may not train in any dance discipline taught by the Institution, including, but not limited to, ballet, jazz, contemporary, character, or any related dance discipline, at another dance school or institution while enrolled at Bayview School of Ballet. 2.2) Purpose of Policy This policy is instituted to preserve the integrity, consistency, safety, and professional standard of the Institution’s training program. Consistent instruction ensures that students receive unified technical corrections, expectations, artistic direction, and developmental guidance. 2.3) Permitted Extracurricular Activities Students may participate in extracurricular activities outside of dance, including, but not limited to, sports, music, academic programs, and other recreational activities. 2.4) Non-Compliance Failure to comply with the Student Training Exclusivity Policy may result in suspension or termination of enrollment at the discretion of the Institution.

3.1) Refunds and CancellationsNo refunds or cancellations will be granted under any circumstances, including, but not limited to, non-attendance or voluntary withdrawal. Instructors are engaged for the entire dance year and are compensated accordingly, irrespective of individual student attendance.3.2) Payment ObligationsParticipants acknowledge and agree that all tuition, registration fees, and any applicable program-related fees become due and payable upon enrollment in any program offered by the Institution, regardless of the program start date or the official commencement date of the dance year.Once a participant is enrolled in a program, the participant and/or their parent or guardian assumes full financial responsibility for all associated fees, whether enrollment occurs at the time the program begins or several months in advance.Unless an alternative payment plan has been expressly arranged and confirmed in writing by the Institution, all fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms provided at the time of enrollment. Failure to remit payment may result in further collection efforts, including legal action to recover any outstanding amounts.3.3) Legal ConsequencesThe Institution reserves the right to pursue legal remedies to collect unpaid tuition or other outstanding financial obligations incurred under this Agreement.3.4) Financial IntegrityThese policies are instituted to preserve the financial integrity and operational stability of the Institution.3.5) Educational Commitment Enrollment constitutes a commitment to comply with all academic, behavioral, and financial requirements outlined in this Agreement.

4.1) Mandatory Compliance Participants acknowledge that compliance with all Bayview School of Ballet Inc. policies is mandatory and critical to maintaining a professional, disciplined, and enriching educational environment. 4.2) Non-Refundable Nature of Fees All tuition, registration, performance, and competition fees are strictly non-refundable. Payment obligations arise at the time of registration and are binding for the entire dance year. 4.3) Payment Options Pay in Full - Includes the first and second installments and the registration fee. Pay in Two Installments - Tuition is divided into two payments. Monthly Payment Plan - Please note that a 5% fee applies to the full tuition for this option. To set up a monthly payment plan, please contact us directly. 4.4) Payment Structure Compliance Participants agree that failure to adhere to the agreed payment structure may result in termination of enrollment. 4.5) Tuition Structure Tuition is calculated based on a 40-week instructional period, excluding holidays and scheduled school closures. Due Date: November 1st Nutcracker Performance: Production Fee: $360 Costume Fees: $180 (Ballet Level 1 and Level 2) $210 (Ballet Level 3, Company Classes, and Competitive Students) Due Date: December 1st Year-End Rehearsal Fee: $125 Annual fee for all students enrolled in performing classes. Due Date: November 1st Year-End Performance: Production Fee: $360 Costume Fees: $180 (Ballet Level 1 and Level 2) $210 (Ballet Level 3, Company Classes, and Competitive Students) $210 (Character Class) $180 (Jazz, Lyrical, and Dance Fusion Classes) Due Date: March 1st Competitions: Fees vary based on external organizer requirements. Additional charges for lessons, choreography, and costumes may apply. 4.7) Taxes All tuition, registration, performance, and competition fees are subject to Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) as mandated by law. HST will be applied at the time of enrollment.

5.1) Photography and Videography Consent By enrolling in our programs, Participants grant explicit permission to the Institution to capture photographic and videographic content of enrolled students. This content may be used exclusively for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes across mediums such as the Institution’s website, social media platforms, brochures, and promotional materials, without financial compensation. The Institution commits to the responsible and dignified use of these visual materials. Participants are assured that all videos and photographs will be handled with the utmost respect, ensuring the preservation of their dignity and privacy. 5.2) Waiver of Liability and Legal Actions By participating in Bayview School of Ballet Inc.’s programs and events, all Participants hereby acknowledge and agree to waive any claims, demands, causes of action, or suits against Bayview School of Ballet Inc., its instructors, staff, and affiliates arising out of or related to: a) Photography and videography consent as outlined in Section 5.1; b) All activities undertaken on the premises, including but not limited to dance classes, rehearsals, performances, and events; and c) Authorizing supervised departure for students under 18, overseen by designated personnel. Participants and their guardians expressly understand and agree that this waiver extends to any injuries, damages, or losses, whether direct or indirect, arising from participation in the programs and events, including the use of visual materials for marketing purposes. Compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement signifies a complete and unconditional release of Bayview School of Ballet Inc. from any liability, and Participants expressly acknowledge that they have no legal grounds to sue or bring claims against the Institution under any circumstances. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties.

6.1) Assumption of Risk Bayview School of Ballet Inc. does not assume responsibility for expenses resulting from injuries during any school activity, whether on or off school premises. Participants and their legal guardians understand and accept the inherent risks associated with these activities. 6.2) Medical Expenses In the event of injury, the Institution is not liable for medical expenses or other damages. Participants must ensure they have appropriate health insurance coverage. 6.3) Release of Liability By participating, Participants release the Institution and its representatives from any claims or liabilities related to the activity. 6.4) Policy Application Bayview School of Ballet Inc. fully endorses all content on this page, and all associated policies extend universally to any document referencing the term “BSB Policies.” Bayview School of Ballet Inc. reserves all rights for the entirety of the content mentioned herein. 6.5) Policy Revisions This document is subject to change, and any modifications will be communicated to enrolled students and their guardians.
